Updated: May 28, 2020

Summer 2019 was hit for four Johnson C. Smith University Computer Science students. They were part of the 30 HBCU students selected to participate in the UNCF Tech Academy in Silicon Valley, which was hosted on NASA Research Park Campus. During the two month program, they were taught Computer Science, Entrepreneurship, UX/UI and Interviewing skills by Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn engineers and HBCU Faculty. For the first time this was many of the students first time coming to the "Hub of Innovation."
